Robot controls, integration and remote care from one team

For plants adding a robot cell or upgrading one they already run. The engineers who write your control programs also commission the cell and look after it once it is in production.

What each engagement includes

Prices are published so you can budget before the first call. Robot hardware and third-party equipment are quoted separately in the proposal.

How we work together

Inquiry, proposal, delivery. Each stage has a written deliverable and a price you approve before it starts.

  1. 01

    Inquiry

Email the part, the process and your cycle-time target. We reply within two business days.

  2. 02

    Assessment

Fixed-fee review of process, floor space, existing equipment and safety requirements.

  3. 03

    Proposal

Written scope, layout, equipment list, schedule and fixed project price.

  4. 04

    Build & FAT

Programming, virtual commissioning, panel build and factory acceptance test.

  5. 05

    Install, SAT & training

Installation, site acceptance test and hands-on training.

  6. 06

    Remote care

Optional monthly monitoring and support by the same engineers.

Projects are billed in three milestones: 30% at kickoff, 40% after a passed FAT, 30% after a signed SAT. Scope changes are priced in writing before work starts.

Common questions

Which robot brands do you work with?

We program and integrate controllers from the major industrial robot makers, including FANUC (R-30iB Plus, R-50iA), ABB (OmniCore), KUKA (KR C5) and Yaskawa, plus collaborative arms such as Universal Robots. We recommend a brand based on your payload, reach, process and what your maintenance team already knows.

Roughly what does a robot cell cost?

It depends on the process, tooling and safety scope. As a public reference point, a 2026 industry pricing guide (evsint.com) puts a complete six-axis cell deployment at about $80,000 to $400,000, with the robot itself typically 30–40% of that. Your assessment ends with a fixed price for your specific cell.

How long does a project take?

Published industry figures put pre-engineered cells at about 8–14 weeks and custom systems at 16–28 weeks or more (cloosamericas.com, 2025). Your proposal includes a week-by-week schedule with FAT and SAT dates.

Can you upgrade a cell we already have?

Yes. We reprogram, add sensors or vision, replace controllers and rework safety on existing cells. New cells and significant modifications are assessed against the 2025 editions of ISO 10218 and ANSI/A3 R15.06.

How is remote access kept secure?

The cell connects outbound over an encrypted channel, so no inbound ports are opened on your network. Your team controls an on/off switch at the cell, and every session is logged with who connected, when and what changed. Our practices follow IEC 62443 guidance for industrial networks.

Do you work outside California?

Our main service area is California and the western United States. Projects elsewhere are reviewed case by case; remote care works wherever the cell has a network connection.
